...In a sense, I think beauty is a decision that we make; deciding who we want to be, what we think about ourselves, what we want the world to think of us. Sometimes, however, it feels like that decision has already been made, as we hopelessly compare ourselves to the airbrushed images of perfection which are impossible to fully achieve. But really, we have already attained the perfection that we're told we lack. Because woman wasn't created as an afterthought or to fix an error in judgment by using leftover parts. She is the triumphant finale to the most amazing and inspiring masterpiece ever designed. Nothing can compare; there is nothing that needs to be altered or apologetic about. She is perfection, just the way she is. She is beautiful.
